Istvan Korbely was born in 1960 in Szarvas (Hungary). Since 1984 he has been working as a painter vocationaly.
He is an expressive painter and leads us to the inner realm of the senses recognizing the way of autonomous development. In this world the forms are resolved, and the colours, the envisioned contrasts and shades come to life. He develops new colours; his pictures are orange flavour, inextricable and can’t be reproduced. Words, loves, fragrances, odes and sonnets are painted by the man of colours. His main mission is the playing. He paints secret and fragrant gardens. The cheerful vivacity, dynamics and colours of his abstract paintings are characteristic. His knowledge of painting is outstanding. His paysages recall the traditional impressionism and modern pictures of his individual style form a very special single oeuvre which is interwoven with his experimenter intention. In his traditional paysages the serenity of reeds of the Hungarian Great Plain, the rich colours of woods and the special lights and shades are reflected.
